English Language Proficiency Requirement For Closed Work Permit

I submitted a closed work permit application on 16th July under NOC 62700. I did not submit a Language proficiency test result. This is because the Canadian body that regulates my profession had already assessed my Language proficiency level and designated it as satisfactory for performance of my job functions. This is stated in my License issued by Transport Canada. I hope that should be okay by IRCC.

You will know if approved. So you have an approved LMIA with job offer. IRCC is not the same as TC so IRCC can ask for IELTS.

Don't forget that Language test proficiency is not mandatorily required for a work permit. And in any case, my LMIA does not state that you need a Language proficiency. It states that I have to meet the conditions for the issuance of a TC License. Which I have already met as stated in my license

Okay then why did you ask the question. IRCC can ask for anythng (document, test, funds) during the process so you wait.
