Hi,

You should be receiving an answer after 4 weeks from the date when all your documents were received and your application was considered as complete.

I have been accepted as well for the MEng in Engineering Management at UOttawa for Fall 2016, still looking at my financials since it seems I won't be able to get OSAP as I haven't been an Ontario resident. Therefore I am currently evaluating this program against a PG diploma in Supply Chain at McGill's.

Good luck

Hiya,

Thanks for your reply. Well, Congrats on your acceptance!!!

Yeah, True. The basic criteria to be eligible for OSAP would be
•Canadian citizen
•permanent resident or
•protected person(Not sure what the protected person mean tho!)

Is that a wise idea to go for PG Diploma, if you are opting for Masters in any means?
Sorry, I don't get your point that you trying to mean!

Could you elaborate please, mate?

Well the masters itself is not my objective, it is a step towards my objective which moving permanently to Canada.

From what I've been reading, I believe PG diploma will be of more help to find a job rather than the masters' degree, because honestly speaking, due to my career and background (Oilfield), I will be targeting an entry level job in any other industry. Therefore, I find a PG diploma in Supply Chain more appealing to put one foot into the Canadian job market, maybe later I'd apply for MEM if I need to. Canada is merely a country of experience rather than education, at least in my point of view.

Good luck mate.
