There are already several existing thread. Here's one:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fswp-programe-extended-till-30th-april-2015-instead-31st-december-2014-t244811.0.html

I'd recommend you spend some time reading through the existing information on the forum.

Hi Dear,

Thanks for your reply.

But if you read latest news from CIC --“Candidates still have time, but they need to move fast. In practical terms, they need to determine their eligibility today and, if they are eligible, they need to start the process almost immediately,” says Attorney David Cohen. “Candidates who fulfil the criteria of the current Federal Skilled Worker Program should apply now, knowing with a degree of certainty that they will be able to immigrate to Canada.”

After December 31, 2014, the current rules and procedures for the FSWP will no longer be in place.

How we are sure about 31April 2015?

I am currently residing in Canada on Temporary work permit of 2 years. I entered Canada in April 2014 on employment and working in Canada past 6 months now. I had received Job offer letter from one of Canadian company and they processed my Temporary work permit with positive LMO. So I entered Canada with employment. I have overall 12 years of work experience ( 10 years in India and 2 years in US) and currently working with same employer past 6 months now after entering Canada under the same skilled category.

I need your expert advice on few of the below questions:

1. Can I go ahead now and apply for PR under "Federal Skilled program" with arranged employment ?

2. If yes, can you please share template for "Employment Letter" to file under FSP (arranged employment)?

3. What would be current processing time if applied under FSP (arranged employment) and how long does it take to receive file number?

4. Which program would be better CEC or FSP ? Should I wait and work for next 6 months and then apply under express entry - CEC or apply now under FSP (arranged employment)?

5. I have heard FSP takes very long time than CEC and it takes months to get file number wherein CEC file number comes in 3 weeks Huh not sure how far its true ...

6. I have PPC from India as well as from US which is dated October 2013. So its going to be an year for those documents, end of Oct 2014. Can I submit those PCC document (almost 11 month old) or shall I get new PCC done ??

Appreciate your advice...

Thanks,

Just so you know, CICnews.com is not an official website by CIC. Even though the current program is supposed to end in April, it is a good idea to prepare to apply by December. You never know when CIC changes its mind and ends the current program early.

That is not from CIC and it is incorrect.
