hi.....
I have also started collecting documents .....and encountering similar problem/ reluctance for the work experience from the employer.

please help me too.

i am working for a big national level organisation in India

My friends had tried earlier for a work experience letter but they said only after you resign we will issue you a work experience.

Obviously I cant resign just now when I do not know what the state of my application would be, though I belong to the 38 occupations list.

And If I disclose that I am applying for immigration, then I will probably never get it. Or even if I get it , it will take as long as 1 year as the file will go from multiple hands to the director (head quarters) as I am in a govt. job.

please give suggestions................................

I have my joining letter from the headquarters and also my tax slips and salary slips...for the past 7 years

1............in lieu of work experience letter can I show the above

2................my nature of duties would not be mentioned in my salary slips and tax slips.....can I show a reference slip from my colleague.

3..............does the work experience letter have to be addressed to the immigration officer canada?????
because i shall try to get the work experience by citing some other reason.......will that appear suspicious to the Immigration officer.

please help and bear with me.

please give your valuable suggestions

You say that you want to visit canada to meet your ailing aunt or to attend cousins marriage and you require this document to show to the visa office for TOURIST VISA.Let your employer write in this letter that you are applying for visitor visa it wont make any difference to visa office when appying fr FSW.

Submit your resume and a proof of you job. You can say to visa officer that it is not the policy of your employer to give experience letter.

Good luck,

....thanks for trying to help me.
You see after reading this post I tried it that way. They are saying why do you need to show work experience to go to attend a cousins marriage. To show that you are our employee , the I card should suffice the visa office people. .................they must have guessed the real reason for asking the work experience certificate.

Will an experience certificate on the official letter head but without mentioning who it is addressed to, be ok.

waiting for you opinions...........

hi all
i think its better to contact your immigiate boss, or supervisor and get a letter from him.

now i have a question. in my current job i have all documents related to incom tax and employment e.g Tax Certificates, PF Statment, Annual Performance letters appointment letters and experience letter.

but

in my previouse job experience i have appointment letter, experience letter, salary slips, and job release letter, Salary was paid in cash and is mentioned in appointment letter so do u think that these 4 documents are sufficent which are verifiable i have good terms with previous employer.

actually"company was saving tax" so salaries was disbursed in cash, not transfered in bank accounts due to this business policy "there is no income tax deduction in salary slips" and "no salary account statment created in bank".

Regards,
Cheeta
