Hello guys,

Is it necessary to have pay stubs, tax info for FSW EE? My work experience is almost 5 years old back home. Currently, I am in Canada, what I have with me now is an appointment letter and a reference letter from my Boss to whom I worked 5 years earlier. Salary was in cash and also it was not a big amount so I didn't filed a tax. Will that create any problem?

The guidelines from CIC are very clear and there is no mention of paystubs. What CIC asks for is that your salary information be available on work experience reference letter which is required on company letter head. Many organizations refuse to give salary information on company letter head and hence many people use paystubs as a substitute to provide that information.
