My company only provides a system-generated employment verification letter. Initially, it didn't even have the number of working hours. I had to literally bombard and harass them with call after call to get it done. Finally got everything in the letter, but they are firm on the fact the letter won't be signed and for whomever, it concerns, they can call the HR team if they need any additional verification and the HR contact detail is provided in the letter. Will a letter without a signature be a problem? It's on official company letterhead. I see multiple sources saying a signature is not mandatory as some employers don't do it and some post in forums where applications are processed with no issues. Also, I see contradicting articles saying a signature is mandatory.
