Hi all. I have submitted a reference letter with duties, salary, period and all requested details on the official company letterhead signed by my boss who is a unit head. I have not approached HR or our head office regarding this because I don't want to jeopardise my job in case this PR doesn't come thru for whatever reason.
Now, my boss's cell phone number and email are provided on the letter. Seniors please advise. In the event of verification do they directly call the person who issued and signed the reference letter or do they call the company main number or HR? Or is it not predictable?
If they indeed call the main number or HR those people will have no clue about this PR application of mine or that a letter was issued by my boss. How can I avoid any misunderstandings or worse yet visa rejection due to this in future?
