Hi Guys,

I have 9 years of IT experience in which 7 years with my current company and 2 years with previous company.
As per OOPNP checklist I need to get Employment Referral Letter for all my employer.
But I am facing some problem contacting my previous employer.

Can I remove my previous employer from EE as well from my OOPNP application?
But when I applied for my work permit I had shown my past employment.
Will they check my work permit application documents while evaluating OOPNP and PR under EE?
Does anyone experienced same situation before ?

Or, what will be the better solution for this?

Thanks

Can you please elaborate? Does the company still exist, is there no form of communication, are they ignoring emails/phone calls, or are they not willing to provide a reference.

If you are planning to conceal the fact that you worked at this company, this is a bad idea. You have to declare all activities for the past 10 years, and later sign (electronically) that by submitting your application you have been completely honest. Not declaring employment would raise suspicions, and is dishonest. It is grounds for misrepresentation and potentially being barred from future applications. The background check is thorough and it is very likely that they will find this previous work experience.

It sounds like you are willing to forgo points/NOC job code that you would gain from this employment, since you already have over 7 years of experience with another employer and probably with your primary NOC. In that case, first check if you have proof that you worked at the company in the form of pay stubs or tax receipts. Present these along with a letter of explanation citing why you cannot provide a reference from the company, but the truth is that you did work there and have made attempts to procure the reference letter but you were not successful. You should understand that CIC may not count this towards your experience but you have done nothing wrong in this case and a rejection, and more importantly being banned due to deliberate misrepresentation, will not be an issue.

Thanks noesis for your detailed solution.

Do you have relive or service letters...??
from previous employer I have relieving letter, service letter and offer letter..do you think those are not sufficient??
The only problem with Above letters is there is no mention about work hours..and I don't think it's big issue..
