Hi guys!!
I was told that my company and my supervisor will not able to provide employment reference due to company ans so, i reached out to my colleague for a letter. He has agreed to provide me his sign. However, I have a question. I have prepared the letter with roles and responsibilities listed, should I get it signed by my colleague first and then get notarized or vice-versa?

Please correct me if I am wrong,

No. Just a letter with his signature will be enough.
You will get into "Review Required" anyway, so just get the letter and try to convince your supervisor or hr to give you a proper document.
