Hi there,

I just checked that my previous employers reference letter has been written in the present tense? :S
Although the dates are shown correctly.
I sent in my application yesterday.
Will it be an issue with this grammatical error? As it shows like im still working there?

I am in my current job for the past 8 months.

Please advice?!

Grammar should not be an issue, as long as the letter gives meaning as you worked with them with so and so responsibilites with some many hours / week. etc..

hi. i think, there would be a problem if the whole content of the letter is in present tense. one or two is fine, but the whole content, i don't think so. they might think that the letter is fraudulent, and you jusked asked someone to change the date. specially if the employer is in canada, that they use english and can't be wrong in making a statement. you can't say it's grammatically incorrect just because it is in present tense, if you read the letter in present tense, you can actually say it's grammatically perfect if everything is in order. well, let's just hope that the visa officer who will review your application is not going to make this a big deal. hoping the best for you.

This letter is from my previous employer, and im not claiming for that work experience
Since its not in skill type 0, A or B.
Since they said to provide letters from past employers, I did so ???
