Hi everyone!
I am applying through Alberta Opportunity Stream program, my question is should it be okay if I quit my current job, which is under my employment reference letter and job offer?
I have already submitted the application and waiting.
Thanks everyone, any help will be appreciated!

Hi Jing,
I won't advice you to quit your current job until after you receive nomination as whenever they review an application, they usually ask for recent pay stubs which should be matching to the information you have provided to them in your application.
However, if your new job duties matchs with the job duites of your current job and NOC code is still same then you can surely quit your current job but you have to inform Alberta Nominee about this change along the other details like type of employemnt, from when you start at new job and new employment letter must be required.
This is what I think but the choice is yours. Anyone with more experience/advice can pitch their thoughts.
Hope this helps!

Don't risk it. They will ask from your employer recent 3 payslips, working hours per week and job duties.

One of my friend's nomination refused because the bussiness closed its door.
