Hi

I have a question regarding Exp letter.

I received my Empoyment letter dated - Jun 2012( I completed 2 1/2 yrs work in Canada by that time).
My company stopped providing support for PR applications and they are not ready to provide a new letter with current date.

As per CEC checklist, they need Experience letter for last 3 yrs.

Can I use the same letter (dated Jun 2012) now while applying for PR under CEC category.

If you apply SOON, and IF the letter contains ALL the required elements (including job duties), it may be accepted because it was written after you completed 2 years of employment (assuming you work at least 37.5 hours per week).

If you are still employed at the time you apply, I would suggest that you write a cover letter explaining that your employer will not provide an updated letter and give a copy of your most recent paystub. Not strictly necessary, but it will provide up-to-date information about your employment.

yes i agree with Jes, also you can attach new paystubs to prove that you're still working there! and attach a cover letter.
