Employment letter does not include details regarding job responsibilities

Hi guys,

The letter I got from my former employer Intel, does not include the explanation regarding duties of my position there. Can it be a reason for a refusal? Should I give the details in explanation letter?
The letter includes the details such as employment dates, salary, number of working hours, full time position and a job title.

Hi,

This is usual in some companies & they have standard format for reference letter. You can either ask your employer to include roles & responsibilities as they need to match with noc job lead statement, otherwise they would reject the file.

If employer doesn't give you roles & duties,then ask your senior colleague to write it for you & include his company card with letter & explain it in LOE.

What singh said. Yes you will be refused without responsibilities description matching your NOC. A collegue or supervisor can provide a letter with those roles. Good luck
