EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

hi all hero members !
i just wana know that can i get employment contract now from my employer with all job details and salary as i am working here for 4 years and i didnt have any employment contract from my employer (who is my family friend) at the time of start.
what if i get it now with the dates when i started job and should it be on company's letterhead or on a stamp paper?

when don't you get a contract with back date? mentioned the date when you joined.
