Hi to All,
I applied in London.

Please help me in this :
I m following this checklist to gather all of the documents.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37023.pdf

*** In point 6 (EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS)
they are asking for :
"Transcripts: original transcripts of all courses taken must be submitted in university or college sealed envelopes;"

Q. I have University Degrees, Marksheet but dont have anything like college sealed envelopes. ??
will that be a problem if its not in college sealed envelopes ??

*** In point 7 (WORK EXPERIENCE)
they are asking for :
"notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers, accompanied by an English or French translation"

Q. But I dont have any employment contract, Just have experience letters. What should i do about Contract Letters ???

Please reply soon.

Hi,canadageek
I think you and me are in the same situation. Having only letter of reference should be Okay but I'm not sure.
Wait for seniors.
Why you don't have it?
In my case,it's been a long time since i got my first job and my former employer cann't provide me a contract.
Cheers

Guys, here is what i am doing as far as docs related to work are concerned.

1- Work experience letters.
2- Job description + salary detail letters.
3- business cards of my current and former supervisors.

thats all i can arrange under current circumstances

its been long time, moreover in india they dont provide a contract letter and they just offer a job by job offer letter which i didnt care to keep at that time.
what should we do now ???

Just go to your university and ask them to provide you transcripts in sealed envelopes with their markings on it.. should nt be a problem.

Thanks Haral
I do have an letter of reference like you say.Unfortunately,my past employer gave me only one letter but it mentioned all of details that you post as ;
1- Work experience letters.
2- Job description + salary detail letters.
3- business cards of my current and former supervisors.
they put it in the same letter.
I think it should be alright.

To Canadageek
Haral is perfectly right. Just call and ask them for sealing an envelope.
They proprably ask for service charge.
cheers

I had problem to get my contract and reference letter notarized, lawyer in Canada said he will not notarize it as this contract is from UAE and my brother got the same answer from Pak notary. I sent original to Buffalo, haven't heard any thing back yet. Fingers crossed.
