Hello all

I have 8 years experience. One of my past employers refused to give me a reference letter, I don't care because I already have enough points to apply without their years of experience. Now the question what should I mention in the years that I have been working with them in it? shall I mention I was working with them for the sake of honesty or mention that I was unemployed to avoid requiring a reference letter. I don't want to lie but I can't at the same time prove my honesty, what shall I do?

Include a written explanation that the employer would not provide a reference letter. If you have the old contract or payslips, for example, to evidence the employment then you could include those.
