Employer Reference Letter Question

I am in the process of getting employer reference letters for my foreign work experience. This experience dates back 6+ years, and the companies have a policy that only payroll/HR can provide records of employment. As a result, they can only provide me with a record of employment (dates, hours, title, wage etc) with the job description attached. They do not know enough about the position to be able to include my "main duties" in the body of the letter.

The job description they will attach to the letter is definitely enough to match my NOC code that I used (nursing - it's pretty specific). I have points linked to this so I can't delete the work history in my application for PR.

I know that the reference letters need to be very specific... Does anyone know if this will be enough for CIC? I can't get letters from my direct manager/supervisors that I worked under, so payroll/HR is my only option.

Will CIC reject these letters as proof?

Thanks - I appreciate any insight.

as you say, nursing is pretty specific. I think it would be OK to attach the job description, it certainly has been accepted in some (but not all) cases, it would be better if the letter mentions something like "job description attached."

And if you can, include a copy of whatever nursing license you were working under at the time...
