My first six month of job experience was through a recruting agency, after six month I was rolled over to the company as permanent staff. For the first six month the recruiting agency provided following letter; is it good enough? Though my manager will write the job responsibility for the whole period as my manager was the same for the whole period.

" This to confirm that Mr. X worked through "recruting agency" for "Y" company as an Design Engineer from 11 Oct 12 to 19 Apr 12.
Mr X was at an hourly rate of $$ and worked an average of 40 hrs per week.

hey, tell them to include ur job duties/description and annual salary
 
my manager will write a letter which will include my job responsibilities.... it will cover the whole experience period....because the recruiting gency does not know any thing about my work...

if ur counting ur experience with the recruiting agency, they got to include ur duties though. all the best..
 
Can't you just ask your manager to write one letter showing your employment history breakdown? Why involve the recruitment agency at all?

The letter can state:

"John Smith from XX/XXXX to YY/XXXX as a part time employee (title and location of job). His salary was so and so and he received so and so benefits.

As of YY/XXXX he became a full time employee (title and location of job). His salary is so and so and his benefits are so and so.

For the entire duration he was with the company, his responsibility included: XYZ"

Don't complicate things!
