Employer is a relative (work experience concerns)

Hey guys,

I'm applying for the permanent residence under the CEC category and I have a question concerning my work experience.

I've been working in this famous fast food restaurant for more than 30 months (since I was a student). I started with a part time job, then after the graduation I got a full time job and got promoted to a supervisor then an assistant manager. I've been an assistant manager for 16 months.
I am wondering if working as an assistant manager in a restaurant makes me eligible for the CEC? Also, the manager of the restaurant is a relative of mine, is that gonna make the officer suspicious about my work experience and the details I'm providing him?

The NOC for an Assistant Restaurant Manager is 0631. That information took 5-10 seconds to find using google.

Assuming you were working legally and can prove your work experience, I don't think you will encounter any problems with your application.

Officers can ask for extra proofs anyway and find out how true your experiences are. As long as they are all genuine, and you can prove that it is and not look like you are trying to hide something, I don't think you will have problems. There is no reason to worry.
