employer invited to apply from job bank.

I have created an express entry profile and job bank profile. I have received an invitation to apply for a job from an employer. It says the employer has seen my profile and has invited me to apply. But once I open the invitation, a message saying " only a permanent resident, or a citizen or work permit holder can apply for the job. Otherwise the employer will not respond". My question is if it is so, why did the employer invite me? Should I apply or not?

Employers will send invitations to candidates who match the profile they are looking for without knowing if you meet the criteria. Job Bank isn't just for those outside of Canada.

You should only apply if you meet the requirement of being a PR, citizen or work permit holder. Otherwise they will not consider you.
