Hi all, thanks for reading!

I keep seeing LMIA for temporary foreign workers.
But my employer wants me to be a PR and offer me a job (NOC 9227)
He is willing to go through LMIA for me to get PR and stay with the company.

So he needs to Advertise the Job on Jobbank.ca and 2 other places. (I think even for PR?)

Do the other 2 places have to be official sites or can he Advertise on the Companies website under jobs section?

I am in the CEC, I am in canada right now on a 2 year permit from IEC.

Or does that make me a foreign worker?

I am so confused.

In regards to your specific LMIA question you will get more answers in foreign worker section. Almost 90% of them are dealing / have dealt with LMIAs.

For some reason I feel that you don't know much about immigration rules here in Canada. You are rushing into things, without having enough knowledge. What do you mean you are in CEC? That CEC stands for Canadian Experienced Class stream. Which means if you have 12 months of full-time experience, at least 30 hours a week, all taxes paid you are eligble to apply through this stream without having a LMIA. Regardless if you are in Canada or not.

Read more here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

Why don't you call a lawyer, spend some money, explain your situation and they will give you all of your options.

Best of luck,

I have worked full time for the last 12 months in canada in a skilled job
but It seems my score won't be high enough? (hence trying to get LMIA for 600 points)

you're right, I don't fully understand, I assumed have points too low wouldnt let me get an ITA
Not sure who to ring.
