Hi

My employers have the same surname as mine .Should I get a letter from them that they are not related to me .

Don't think its required. You can just inform the same in your covering letter.

Though wait for advice from any senior.

Don't get anything like that as it can arise suspicions. It is very rare but it can happen that employer and you have the same name not only surname but whole name.

Its not that rare in India.
For eg. Patel, shah, Khan etc are very common surnames.

If the OP feels the need to explain than he can do the same in covering letter stating that It is a very common surname in his region/caste and that his employeer is not related to him.

I talked about whole name not just surname. I said it can even happen that your whole name is identical to employer not just surname.

Will I be asked more documetns such as partnership deed ?

Does CEC normally ask for partnership deed from people working in Partnership firms ?
