Employer based Closed work permit (PNP)

Hi,

I have dependent open work permit, but i wish to apply close work permit based on my Ontario PNP under International student job offer letter.

My employer will be paying fee via employer portal, so that i will be eligible to apply for closed work permit.

But when i log in to cic portal, after answering sequence of question, it re directs me to open work permit, but i want to apply closed work permit ?, where should i place employer Id in work permit application ?.

why do you specifically want a "CLOSED" work permit when you can get a "OPEN" one?

I have depedent work permit, if I move to close workpermit than my spouse can stop studying and she can get depedent work permi , so that atleast I will be saved from paying international fees. My concern is I have valid open work permit till April 2018. Can I just go to border and apply for close work permit, right away ?

Why would your spouse not attending school void your open WP. It was issued to you based on you being her spouse and it has an expiration date.

Is there any conditions listed on it?
