Employement Reference Letters

I worked in the UK or 2 years under NOC Code 2121. I worked in India for 3 years with NOC Code 4163. The problem is I have got the reference letters from my employer in the UK, my present employer as well as my 2nd employer. The only reference letter which is missing is 3rd employer where I ended on very bad note and I didnt even got the relieving letter. I wish to ask if that could be a major issue. I have the payslips, offer letter, PF contribution letter as well as Income Tax Returns Letter (Form 16). What shall be done in this case? I will write Letter of Explanation, but will they consider this? Wouldnt they see I am able to submit three reference letters? Please help!

Try to get the reference letter on a plain paper from your colleague in that organization with his job designation, contact details and signature.
Then get this letter notarised. Also, if possible, get this colleague's business card and attach it.

If all other employments (except the one you ended on a bad note) lasted more than 3 years cumulatively, then no need to explain anything as you get maximum CRS for 3 years of foreign work experience.

Just to explain further

1st Job UK Firm - 2 years - Employement Reference Letter + Letter from Ex-Manager Duly Signed by her. UK Firm was an Pharmaceutical MNC with more than 300,000 employees. It has stated on the letter they do not disclose duties as it not allowed as per Data Security Regulations 1998. However I have the letter from Ex-Manager with Business Card: NOC Code 2121

2nd Job: Pharma Consulting & Market Research Firm - 10 months - Employement Reference Letter as CIC Standards: NOC Code: 4163

3rd Job: Pharma Consulting & Market Research - 10 months - Letter from Current Colleague: NOC Code: 4163

Present Job: Market Research Firm - 1 Year 8 Months - Employement Reference Letter as CIC Standards: NOC Code: 4163

Don't we need a Job Code 4163 for 3 years? That what I am concerned about?

All of this above looks fine. If you have your offer letter or work contract where the job duties are mentioned for your 1st job, then better to attach it as well.

You already have over more than total 3 years work exp. in NOC 4163 which fetch you the maximum points allotted for Foreign Work Exp.

3rd Job: I am concerned about that 3rd Job I am giving letter on plane paper from Current Colleague where I do not have releving letter...I have pay slips, Contract, Relieving Letter and Self Declaration, PF Contribution Letter, Income Tax Returns

1st Job in the UK: I do not have Job Duties metioned on Letter Head, but on plane paper. However I have employer verification on letter head and also got this (mentioned below) thing written on Letter Head for my fisrt job

Your present job NOC 4163 with a market research firm and Job 1 must be sufficient to claim the maximum points even though the NOC's are different.

You must have at least one year, in the last ten years before you submit your electronic application for permanent residence, of continuous full-time work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in a skilled occupation listed in Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B of the 2011 version of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC).

However to be on a safe side, just also include all the correspondence you may have tried, to get the letter from Job 3. I mean all email exchanged. Finally you can submit a letter from a colleague. This will make your case more authentic.

The wording used to describe work experience in CRS tool is misleading. You need 1 year of continuous full-time experience in only one NOC to be eligible for FSW (you have that). Once you meet this requirement, you are competing against other candidates in the pool based on CRS points. 3 years of foreign work experience in the last 10 years gives you maximum points and it does NOT have to be continuous or in same NOC.

Yes we can...Have you got rejection or you became ineligible?...Yes we could send updated Reference Letters...Though I'll fill this application with Toothpick....Assuming they made you ineligible because of Employment Records or Rejected because of Reference Letters

So I was concerned since they have access to my old files, I want to make sure everything is in order this time.
