Hi,

I got file no. for Canadian Permanent resident visa through London. I have a offer from Canadian firm and I already got a preliminary employment letter. I come to now from some sources that if one can have confirmed job offer than visa lead time can reduce to as short as 6-8 months. Does any body has an idea about this? What is the procedure and how to go about this?

thanx in advance.

The employer would have to get an AEO (Approved Employed Option) from HRSDC, once you have that in hand from the Employer, you update your SAP (London) with a full application, that is if you applied under the Simplified Application Package.
