Hi,

I have a problem with employee verification. I have obtained reference letter from the HR but the HR is leaving the company in a few weeks time. How will this impact my employee verification. since I am not the primary applicant does this matter much. What do you advise me in this case. Should I obtain an reference letter from a senior officer who is less probable to leave the company. Please advise.

hr person is actually employed now, should not be a problem to verify your employment by new hr person if the background check is conducted via call to your employer. in case of call inform new hr person beforehand of possibility of verification and provide a copy of the reference letter signed by the previous hr person.

in case you want to contact a senior officer, you may need to explain the entire story behind your reference letter request, which you could wish not to disclose at this point.

Also my office's address has changed. Do I need to explain that as well in a letter.

It will be better to get it from the senior person (depends on, if you think you can get it)

The address, if already changed, you can get the Ref. Letter on the new Letter-Head with new address.
If thats not possible, you can put a cover letter and explain that.

Also can mention the company website, which might have the new address updated

my immigration consultant saying that even if i get bank certificate with proof of funds, its fine...and i dont need to send bank statements. i doubt it though..what you guys recommend?
