Dear members,
This is Arnab, an Indian citizen (age-29).
I recently graduated with my PhD from Canada (august 2018) and moved to Sweden to do one or two years of postdoc, to gain at least one year of work experience as I don't have any work experience in my life.
This one year of work experience will be make me eligible to apply for express entry after one year under the Federal Skilled Worker Program.
Before leaving Canada in october, I made sure that I got all my Canadian documents straight. So, currently I have the postgraduate work permit valid for 3 years, TRV valid for 3 years, health card, SIN, driver's license, etc.
But, I have a little query which is worrying me a bit. I am having a very tough time in Sweden (administrative problems). There is a chance that my boss may allow me to keep the contract but work from Canada or India (as the work can be done from home too). So, if I move back to Canada but keep being employed by Sweden, is it necessary, that I have to be at the location of employment (Sweden) for 1 year before I can apply for FSWP?
Clear answers will be highly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Arnab
