emergency!!! Please help!!

My boyfriend is a british citizen and his VISA is about to expire. He has applied for an extention for his working holiday VISA. We know right now that his Labour Market Opinion (from human resources canada) was rejected, meaning his VISA extention will be rejected.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET AROUND THIS?! We need to figure out a way for him to stay in Canada, be able to work without needing an LMO from Human Resources!!!

You can't get an extension on a working holiday visa. I assume he tried to get an LMO for a regular work permit. Depending on what province you are in, you might try to get an AEO for his work permit (needs to be a skilled job) and apply for his immigration under a provincial nominee program. It will still not happen instantly, Might be a year before it's processed. He may have to go home in the meantime. You could also marry him and start a sponsorship but there will still be at least 6 months that he wont be able to work.
