Emailed CHC and they replied this.. What does it mean!?? plz help

My friend emailed CHC! @ 'CHADG-G @ international.gc.ca' about delay of Visa as he still haven't done his medicals!! and this is what they replied:

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Our office is still awaiting the furtherence medical results. Processing can only proceed ahead once your successful medical results are entered in the system.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

What does this mean exactly? Does it mean that they havnt received the reports from hospital in almost ten days?!

i think you need to chase your doctor on whether he/she have send the results to CHC??I hope that you booked a appointment with a Designated Medical practioner only not some other doctor..You need to call your Doctor and ask him to send the report to CHC as Soon as POSSIBLE!!....Can i ask you one thing? Do you have any problem with your lungs?

bro I had mentioned earlier that I had already done pre-medicals ,and I went for lordotic x-ray in the same hospital --Dr.Malkit Law.And the doctor told me after seing the x-ray that its absolutely normal and yes I did called the hospital 3-4 dayz ago and they said that the report was sent the next day itself--17th august.I guess from CHC's reply that they are awaitng result from their own medical officer.

hey dude thats one of its kinda of case..did you mentioned to doctor that you had any sorta lung disease like asthma or somethin? I dont understand any reason why they would call you for a lordotic x-ray even everything was fine...I called my doctor yesterday and she told me that she have sent my reports to chc but she told me that chest x-ray report is confidential and she cannot tell me that..When you first did pre-medicals did your doctor told you about the chest x-ray report??or was it the second time she saw your report?



most importantly can you tell me something? did you saw your x-ray too? if yes could you see the spinal cord too? because lordotic x-ray can be done when they may not get a proper view from normal chest x-ray because of the shadow of the spinal cord..so if you remember can you tell me whether you saw your spine on the x-ray.?

Na yaar--I have absolutely no probs with my lungs or nythng---perfectly normal !! Didnt ask about the first x-ray but definately asked about the second 1,The doctor said it is because they want to clarify about TB as they are petrified about that disease and want to be 100 % sure.And yes the doc said that my lordotic x-ray is normal and I dnt need to worry a bit.

Nd bro you are right,they wanted to be 100 % sure about that TB thing that's why they asked for lordotic x-ray as it provides best view of the lungs.

because lordotic x-ray can be done when they may not get a proper view from normal chest x-ray because of the shadow of the spinal cord

Did you saw your own x ray film in the second test or you just asked the doctor about it?
If you did however saw your own x ray film can you tell me if you saw spinal cord?

the funny thing here is if they are always in doubt about TB why dont they ask everyone to do lordotic x ray..

they ask for lordotic only if the first x-ray doesnt clear their doubts bro.As in my case they were not fully sure so they asked me to undergo lordotic x-ray but generally the first x-ray gives a clear enough picture.

i know... lol the problem with me is that i had a problem with one of my vertbrates in my spinal cord and it is slighy bended..I hope that my spinal vertbrate dont show up in my x-ray..

i called the doctor and she said blood and urine reports are normal however other reports are confidential..I hope nothing shows up on my chest x-ray regarding my spine.

Na,University of Manitoba doesnt come under SPP---I applied in the university category.

guys i'm facing the same problem embessy also asked me to go through the same x ray and ma doctor told me that everything is fine and there is no symptoms of tb even i did a seprate chest xray in hospital to be confirmed about this and my reports were same there with no problem and don't know why they asked me to go through 2nd xray i'm waiting for my visa i had applied under spp
