I received call from IRCC (Service canada) agent for telephone interview. When I asked her to send me email first then I received email from email id "ircc.dnverifications-verificationrn.ircc@cic.gc.ca", for IRCC telephone interview.
Email states
Good day,
As per our telephone conversation today, this email confirms that you will be receiving a telephone call from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada agent.
This call is in regards to your application for permanent residence under Canadian Experience Class. If you do not respond to our call, you may be called for an in person interview once restrictions have been lifted and local offices reopen.

Has anyone faced the same experience ?

Thanks for reply. Even I have gone through the above link. Still things are not clear. Never heard that they might call you for telephonic interview directly from their telephone number. Someone had same experience ?

They just started a new pilot this month hoping to speed up applications by doing over the phone interviews but it was surprising they called you out of no where

yeah, but how to confirm that this is genuine call ? Not sure I am having doubt in mind.
The problem would be confirming the calls legit... you could try submitting a webforum or calling ircc other than that there im not sure.

What is the doubt? The end of the email they sent to you (@cic.gc.ca) cannot be fake. There are applicants who need to be interviewed too. So if the phone number is unknown or block, it can be them interviewing you.
