Email from CIC what does it mean?

Hey guys

I emailed CIC yesterday to enquire about the status of my application. I received an email response today saying my files are currently under final review and they hope to provide me with an outcome very soon. Does anybody know what this means? Is it yet to be reviewed by an officer? I applied online at the beginning of October.

Yes.. they have still not accessed your file and is in queue..My advice don't email or bother them..Let them take their own time and you continue what u are doing..This will help u

Hi same is my case. M from Kenya. I received study approval in email. But haven't received my documents and pp yet. They replied the sameto me. I don't know what's final review although I have already received letter of introduction.

Have you checked your MyCIC account? If your visa has already been approved I dunno why they said that to you. I have not heard anything from them and it passed the processing times on the website so when I emailed them they said file is currently under final review and should hear decision very soon.

Unfortunately I applied paper application via vfs. Yes I am even thinking y my file is under review while I received my study approval since 22.nov.

Can I ask you, which country did you apply from and which college or Uni you want to study in please? As well as, what is your status in that country where you applied from?

As I apply for study permit by online from United Kingdom being as student here

I am a British Citizen by birth however my husband is Indian passport holder with PR in UK. I applied to go to Centennial College in Toronto to do HR course.

Hello madam/sir,

I am an international student in United Kingdom. I have dropped my study permit from london VFS. That was 23 days before till now update is (1) medical exam is passed (2) no need additional documents
And (3) back ground checking and my application still in process. Can I know actually how many days study permit can takes time and how many days can take time after my status. Actually I am very crucial to know this because my UK visa valid more 8 days only I need to submit my passport also after review successfull
Please any one can suggest me then I will be very thankful to you
