Email from Cairo

so i got an email from canadian embassy in Cairo asking for two documents please see below

"X) To complete the attached form for yourself. Please make sure that you write the month and year in questions 08 & 12 and complete it since the age of 18 with no gaps in dates, even if you are not working (you may write unemployed).

(X) To provide updated police certificate.

Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, 2001 states that all questions pertaining to an immigration application must be answered truthfully and must provide relevant evidence and documents that the examining officer reasonably requires.

Failure to provide the requested documentation within 30 days will result in your application being assessed on the basis of the documentation presently on file. Please be advised that, as the documentation requested in this email is relevant to the final assessment of your file, failure to provide it will likely result in the refusal of your application."

can someone tell me if they went through this before ?

you have to read the instruction clearly to know how to answer the personal history
the same for question 12 " Addresses "

You should submit a new police certificate

Ive been waiting for almost a year now but I did find it weird that they asked for the police certificate, does it expire ? I thought it didn't

Ya , i think it could be expired
It's good for you that they did not ask you to do the medical exam again

but i want to ask you .. Is this the only email from the embassy since they received your application !

Hi Mosaab,

yes it is the only email they have sent.
I think ordering the GCM Notes kind of helped as it seems like they started reviewing my application right after I requested the notes but I could be wrong and this could be accidental
