Got email from IRCC: Your application to work in Canada has been approved. But VFS says application is stll on-process. Does it mean that my work permit is approved and just needs to wait for passport? They say that this is still not sure and it just means that my application is received. Please advise. Thanks.

My friend has the "Final Decision" line that show "your application has been approved". And IRCC send her Passport request letter via her online account. However, other status are still "in process" like "We are processing your background check" or "We are reviewing your eligibility"...
But because she received the passport request letter, it is considered last step.
Have you received any other request into your online account yet?
Did you send in the passport for the working visa? Where did you send the passport and how long it took to receive it back?, if you don't mind me asking?Thanks for the response. Got my visa now
I sent it paper application at VFS and it took me only 2 weeks until passport release.
Thank you for your info. Last question, were you applying outside Canada? The VFS is also outside Canada?
