You would benefit by learning about the program requirements as early as possible, as it can take some time to obtain all required documents (e.g. language test scores, police clearances, etc):

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/index.asp

As long as your position is classified as "skilled," you will be eligible, it does not have to be related to your field of study. You need to identify the NOC code for your position, based on job duties and responsibilities (not job title or employment requirements).

"Skilled" is NOC level 0, A, or B:
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/html/Matrix.html

The type of establishment does matter (restaurant vs. cafeteria), and in particular, the supervisory duties are what will distinguish between an unskilled (e.g. waiter) position and a "skilled" position (assistant manager).

So, i have to be a manager over there then i will eligible right. And thanks for your reply.
I don't know what your duties/responsibilities are. I have not found 'restaurant supervisor' on the NOC website, but it implies at least some managerial responsibilities. You will have to identify the correct NOC for you, based on the job duties that you perform - and that your employer will verify in writing in the letter of employment.

Thanku so much for your help and one more if i working as chef . So , i am fine.
Chef and cook are both classified as "skilled," so if you work for 1 year (full-time) as a chef or cook, then, yes, you would probably qualify.
