Eligibility under fast track

MY WIFE APPLIED FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER FEDERAL SKILLED WORKDER CLASS IN 2005, I WAS ALSO INCLUDED AS HER SPOUSE IN HER APPLICATION. CAN I APPLY IN NEW FAST TRACK CATEGORY 1 AS MY PROFESSION IS IN APPROVED LIST WITHOUT WITHDRAWING HER APPLICATION AS SHE IS NOT WILLING TO WITHDRAW HER 2005 APPLICATION

I am not sure but I think you can. They might however ask you to withdraw one of the two but I am not sure.

Yes you can. There are no rules by CIC saying you can't have more than one application going at the same time. Of course that kind of goes against the purpose of making it faster with the new system since everybody decided to have 2 applications, it would get slower but still, no rules that say you can't do it.
