Eligibility of PR for CERB

I would like to find out if Permanent residence are eligible for CERB? I have moved to Canada as a PR in Jan 2020 however, due to the COVID 19 situation I have being quarantined and unable to work or find employment; hence I would like to know I would qualify to apply for CERB ?

Just in case others are reading this. No you don’t qualify.

Yea, you don't qualify, however if you apply you might get it initially but then end up paying back as a penalty and have issues applying for benefits in the future. I'd say, if you are not eligible please don't apply.
