HI Friends,

I have been working in Canada for more than a year as a temporary worker on intra company transfer. I was asked to return to my home country by my employer, hence I would like to know whether my experience still counts for Experienced class under express entry even after I go back to my country. Please clarify this for me.

Thank you,
Shashi.

Yes - your work experience still counts even if you have returned to your home country.

the catch here is that even though your experience counts you do not have a LMIA being an intra company transfer. Which is not a good thing for CRS calculation. Also another point which currency were you paid in? When they say Canadian experience they mean employed with a Canadian legal entity and paid in CAD.
