CBSA does not record exit data. They only record entry data.
When CIC requests for the entry data from CBSA then how will CIC determine that how long was the person away from Canada?
People usually go to USA for same day trip. How will CIC know that the entry was for the same day trip?

That's why they need to see all your passports on interview day. An entry stamp to another country means you exited Canada that same day or a day earlier.

how about multiple entry trips to USA? CBP stamps once and gives i94 and then no stamps for next 6 months and during that time, you can go as many times you want to usa and they won't stamp till the new i94 is issued. How will CIC determine about it?

What if thr cbp records are incorrect?
They are usually entered electronically so it will be hard to argue that they are not.

People have discussed issues with incorrect or missing enteries
Missing entries yes but incorrect I don't think so . Do you know someone has wrong entry date ( I heard that someone his entry date is different by one day from actual entry ) but not more than this

I meant to say that not recording all departures also examples like arrival 14 feb 2013 and departure 19 sep 2013then entry of arrival 15 feb 2013 and departure 19 sep 2013.

This is just an example

I think the exits are not recorded properly as told by other people
