Hi, I have just found out about the Canadian Experience Class Express Entry and it almost seems too good to be true.
I have over one year of work experience as a manager at a small business in Canada. I currently still work there and they would love to keep me, so will also have a work contract once I apply for the Canadian Experience class.
My question is: is that all it takes? 12 months of work experience in Canada plus a job offer? I know about the language test results too, which shouldn’t be an issue.
Thanks in advance for any help! :)

For the job offer to be valid, your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA. Has your employer done this yet? This is typically a 4-6 month process.

To be selected for Canadian Experience Class out of the Express Entry pool, you need to have 470+ points. Have you determined how many points you have? Having a year of skilled work experience in Canada generally means you qualify for CEC however this doesn't mean you will be selected. Whether you are selected on not will depend on how many points you have.

EDIT: You should let us know what kind of work permit you are on now. That could change the LMIA answer.
