Hi,

My girlfriend (the sponsor) is currently in the UK with me on a work holiday visa, she is moving back home in June (and have shown evidence of this). Would she tick the question below as YES or NO?

"Do you reside in Canada and in no other country? If you answered 'NO', but are a Canadian citizen living exclusively outside Canada, you ay still be eligible to sponsor."

Thanks!

Well the question is how long has she lived there and will she be sending the package from the UK? She can always state that she does reside in the UK but intends to move back on this date and back it up with evidence of this fact..

She has lived here for 2 years and is a Canadian Citizen. The whole application is being sent from the UK. So should we tick NO but just show the evidence she will be leaving the UK to move back home in June?

No I think (this being my opinion as a cdn living out of cda) that she should show her residence there and then in the section where it asks the sponsor when she will return specify the date and show evidence for this fact.. ticket etc.. rental agreement from back home would be good as well.. This shows them you are being honest upfront as they will wonder why it was sent from the UK if she says she is residing in Canada..
