Electronic signature in online application for self and spouse

I submitted online application for TRV 15 days ago. Somewhere in the application I remember a pop up saying you don't need to physically sign the online application (i.e. print - sign - scan - upload) because at the time of submission an electronic signature is valid. I did the same for my spouse's application i.e. did not print-sign-scan-upload. Is that OK? Since it has been more than 2 weeks and I have not heard back from the consulate I am beginning to worry if I did something wrong in the application package.

Anyone submitted online application without physical signature and it still got processed smoothly?

you do not need physical signature.
only at the end of submission you type your name and last name
