To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to receive some assistance or advise concerning an immigration problem. My uncle has been trying to sponsor his parents, who in relation are my Grandparents, and his sponsorship has been neglected and rejected. Than my grandfather had a heart attack and died; after wards my uncle provided the immigration workers his father's death certificate and there process of sponsoring was once again rejected. My grandma is now living alone in Pakistan, she has no one, she is approximately 68 years old or younger, this is not fair, i take this as Age discrimination and racism. There sponsorship has been rejected, and the courts keep re-scheduling and keep changing dates on hearing days. My uncle is fully eligible of sponsoring my grandparents. I would like to know as to what we can do to help sponsor my grandma, she is all alone she cannot suffer anymore, its been now 2 years since my grandfather had died. My grandmother has no relatives or anyone else, i hope to see her before it's to late; should we get a new lawyer or what, please, i beg for advise and suggestions. Thank you for taking yor time to read this, i really appreciate it, i hope to receive back a message.

Hope to get a message back,

HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I LOVE CANADA.

First of all you have my compassion regarding your grandparents.

Regarding the application, applying for permanent residency as a parent or grandparent in Islamabad takes 15-27 months according the CIC homepage, so it's definitely not a fast process. Appealing to court takes several months, so it doesn't really alleviate the issue. Exactly how would age discrimination or racism be involved?
On what grounds was your uncle's sponsorship denied? It would seem strange to reject an application from an eligible party. Also, do you live in a province with provincial immigration route that you might use?

i live in Toronto, Ontario.

I don't really know much about immigration system or laws, but in grade 9 in geography we were taught that Canada most likely accepts professional people and younger people. Also i do not know exactly on what grounds the application was rejected, i am thinking because i was told that my grandfather used to work in a governmental job, and it was assumed that he helped the terrorists take-over and kill people, which is really bullshit, please excuse my language. So the immigration people rejected the application "Assuming" that he would increase and bring terrorism over to Canada. Now thats all i know from what i've heard so far. Thank You Swede for replying to my concerns. I just wanted to say can't you bring some sort of women rights or elderly person rights into this case, because my grandma is all alone and she is very old, i don't know how she can take care of herself. i am just worried that i have never seen her and i want to see her before something happens and its to late. Thank you very much. Looking forward for more replys.

The you need to do is to find out exactly why the application was rejected. That way you can see if the situation can be rectified somehow.
