eIMM5669 Signature question

Hi everyone,

I am a bit confused about the signature instructions for IMM5669e (sponsorship for parents).

In the checklist instructions (IMM5771) it says:
IMPORTANT: For this form to be accepted, you must:
a) complete it,
b) validate it,
c) print it, and
d) sign your name in writing with a handwritten signature in the signature box.

BUT in Guide 5772 to fill application it says:

• If you are filling it out on the computer, type your name in the signature box, validate the form and print out the form. You must then sign your name with a handwritten signature beside your typed signature name, in the signature box. If you do not sign and date the form according to these instructions, it will not be accepted and will be returned to you.

One says Type your name then print and sign. The other says Print then write your name then sign.

My question is: Should I type the name then print and sign OR Should I print the form then write the name and sign?
My parents already printed the form then they have written their name and hand signed, is it ok like that? (basically they followed the checklist instructions and not the IMM5772 instructions)

And also for the date, should they fill the date before printing? Or should they also write the date by hand?

Instructions are a bit confusing for this form.
