You hve to report that you returned to work. This will be checked against ROE records so don’t lie. Whqt hqve you been doing since May 31st? Did you continue receiving EI without reporting that you returned to work?

I know very well that i worked after 17 may 2020 till 31st may 2020 . But now i am asking as he showed in ROE that there is no work for me due to covid so how i can change dates in EI reporting because my service canada account shows its due from 17th may 2020

When you returned to work did you contact EI to tell them you were returning to work so your payments stopped? You would need to reapply after you were laid off.

No i have not told them that i returned to work .. and about reapplying again i dont know how to change dates because when i open service account canada page the questionnaire page pop up .. which i dont want as i need to apply again

You need to contact EI And they will have to fix the fact that you didn’t report that you returned to work. What you did is benefit fraud.

I have not applied EI for those days and i did not report EI that i started working on those days as well . But now due to covid my employer states in ROE that due to shortage of work i cant come so from now onwards i want to reapply .. so do i need to call them for applying again bcoz dates in that account still shows the ending dates since i applied it last

It also doesn’t sound like you stopped your EI and just let it continue when you had to stop it once you returned to work. You need to call the EI office and explain that you returned to work on whatever date and worked until whatever date. At this point you can’t go back and correct your error. CRA and EI/CREB will be reconciling their records so it is better for you to deal with this now so you aren’t penalized later.
