Launched in April 2021, the Online PR Portal has been accepting PR applications of selected nominees. The IRCC plans to gradually transition towards online application system, for this reason it is currently showing the link for Online PR Portal at random occasions, i.e. sometimes the link appears and sometimes it doesn't on this page: (Provincial Nominee Program: How to apply (non-Express Entry process) - Canada.ca). This way the IRCC is keeping the number of applicants limited. The actual link for portal is also being shared on relevant platforms by the public: Sign in | Permanent Residence Portal (cic.gc.ca)

- No one receives an email after submitting the application online
- No outlander applicant has received a response from the IRCC after submitting the application online
- There are applicants who are waiting since the mid of April, which is still quite early, so nothing can be said about processing times yet
- The platform is user-friendly and fully-working as confirmed by IRCC officials online
- The platform will be the preferred method of applying PR for Non-express entry programs in the future
