EEBC, cancelled as incomplete

Hello,
I have received a letter that my Express Entry application has been canceled because I did not upload a recent passport.
It was a stupid mistake that I uploaded the wrong file.
so, I created a new application and there was a section that if I have been nominated by province and I said yes.

My question is on my BC PNP application, the UCI number is different from the new Express Entry application.
Does CIC or BCPNP know that if I have been nominated and start the new application?
It's been 12 days passed since I created the new application for Express Entry and I did not get any messages from CIC yet.

Do I have to contact CIC or BC for this?
Please help
