EE with PR application by common-law at the same time?

Hey guys,

My pgwp is expiring in 30 days. I got AOR from OINP last month. I didn't mention I have a common-law in the EE application.

I am wondering if it is legal to send the paper application to apply permanent resident with common-law at the same time? And can I withdraw the common-law application if I want if I get ITA from EE?

You can edit your EE application now and inform OINP that you are adding a common-law dependent. I don't believe OINP will actually check your EE profile, only what you had sent in the OINP application forms.

Keep in mind of the new funds requirements and edit this portion too before you submit any changes in your EE profile.

But to answer your question, yes, you can have both paper and EE applications submitted at the same time, and withdraw any one when the other progresses.
