hi all
I may have to apply for express entry under CEC.. However the LMIA requirement has confused me. I am on an inter company transfer and no LMO was ever required. My employer will not support my application except providing the reference letter..
My question is - how can I prove that I have a LMIA job offer? Any thoughts?

Found a link on CIC website

Looks like inter company transfer doesn't need LMIA.. In that case, what happens to the points awarded for LMIA approved job offers?

Hi, same boat, the answer is you can't get the 600 points. you still can apply CEC under EE. but the chance been chosen is much smaller than someone who have LMIA.

suggestion: apply it anyway and at the same time, apply PNP in that way you will not need LMIA.

your Canadian experience will still give you more points than those applying from outside Canada without a job offer. Apply anyway! It is very likely that there will be program-specific draws....
