EE: Questions related to spouse' details on two forms

Hello, I received AOR in Jan-2019, and recently got married in US, where I reside currently. My, now, spouse came here on a tourist visa and is planning to return to her home country and get an H4b processed soon.

Meanwhile, I am trying to get her added to my application.

1) Since she is in US on a tourist visa and only temporarily(less than 4 months), does this mean US counts as her country of residence or should it be her home country?
Reference - Form IMM0008dep_enu Question 13. Current Country of residence

2) For last visit to Canada, does a transit visa count or an actual visit?

Just an update for anyone else looking for this info -
1) Put US as the current address (selected visitor as status) and wrote an LOE
2) Put transit visa as last visit as passport was stamped during the transit
