In the month of Aug 2013 I came to Canada-Edmonton(Alberta) on work permit and my work permit valid till May 2015 last week and last year October I applied for CEC and my application return due to 8000 cap reached.

I'm with same employer and I've same job NOC 2174 and my work permit going to expire with the same employer.Do I need to request new LMIA, if my employer request what is maximum duration time to get LMIA.. Since I stay in Alberta is it better processing time when compare to other province.

I applied EE with the work permit which is still valid till May 2015 and I got 829 Can I do like this. Since my employer informed that he is going to take care of LMIA I have applied my permanent residency under new rules EE with existing work permit.

Any comments on this ...

You must have received a letter of acknowledgement of receipt which ensures that you have successfully submitted your PR application via EE.
You can use that letter to apply for your Bridging open work permit (BOWP), it serves the purpose to continue working legally without renewing LMIA while your PR application is being processed. Make sure you provide your employment letter, copy of pay stub with your letter that you received after submitting your PR application.
If application approves, you will get one year open work permit. You might want to navigate CIC website for further information.

1. No, you don't get a BOWP for submitting a profile in EE. You must receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply for PR) submit the application, and only then could you apply for a BOWP.
